Mayor of the municipality of Kisela Voda
The mayor Marjan Gjorcev was born on November, 4, 1956, in Kavadarci. He has graduated on the Faculty of Economy within the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. He was elected for mayor of the Municipality of Kisela Voda – Aerodrom, in the period 1996-1998. From 1999 -2002 was appointed for Minister in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Macedonia.
He was elected for the member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia on the elections in 2002, in the mandate of 4 years, to 2006.
He was a founder and first president of the Syndicate of the financial organizations of the Republic of Macedonia from 1989. He is also current president of International Civil Association “Pan European Union of the Republic of Macedonia”. Also, Mr. Marjan Gjorcev is an author of three books and an author of many articles in the written press in the country.
He was a president of Ensemble of folk dances and songs “Nikola Jonkov-Vaptzarov” in the period 1995-2003.
He was a participant of all congresses of the political party VMRO-DPMNE, up to now, and was a chairman of the congress in Strumica. Also, he was a president of the Council of the Intellectuals in the period 1994-1995, as well as member of Executive Committee in the period 1995-1998.
